Service Learning & Global Volunteer Programs (1)

Programs for Service Learning, Global Volunteer or Social Engagement Programs try to offer benefits for communities, while on the same time offering students important new personal and professional skills like problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as giving you the opportunity to engage with the community in a fun team environment. Key elements of social engagement programs include certain activities, as also interaction and social exchange with a special group or culture.

For the most part, social engagement excludes activities for which one is getting paid, or family obligations. We do favor programs where students receive some kind of compensation, like help finding suitable accommodation or access to study programs and language courses.

If you are instead interested in an internship, please have a look at the corresponding section.
